Sprichst du Englisch?
So I have been in Frankfurt for 2 days now and after the unreal travel experience I had, I was happy to reach land. FYI never take Delta. I booked a small flight from DC to NY and was on my way with mom to Dulles when 5 mins until we were at Dulles I realized..oh god...my flight was out of National!! BAH!
I called Kevin to meet me at the airport and mom and I booked it. I arrived with 20 mins until my flight, was not allowed to check my bag and the nice guy at the counter (Nice=JERK!) was totally unhelpful and I told him so. In return he told me "Well your not helpful showing up 20 mins before your flight"...really nice customer service Delta.
After the security guy throwing out some bottles and me running like a crazed woman through the airport I made it. I got on the flight and got on the next one and arrived in Frankfurt.
I met up with J&E, my travel buddies, and we started our adventure! We stumbled upon a regatta and international food & drink festival while on our way to the Jewish Museum. It was pretty sweet!
We saw an awesome dragon boat race and wandered around to find a hip´hop class performing from ages 5 to probably 16 and they were great!
Then E and I found apple cider with strawberries aka heaven. It was so good! Apparentlz, according to mz Lonelz planet guide, Frankfurt is known for apple cider with alcohol and it was so good! We still don´t know if it had alcohol, but it tasted delicious.
The weird thing about Frankfurt is there is no english anywhere. Once you leave the airport all signs and museums are in German. Obviously it is the first language but I found it weird that a museum only had one language for exhibits...but we went through them anyway and got the jist of it.
We are off to Hidelburg today and possibly Munich tomorrow!
Auf Wiedersehen!!

I'm Backkkkk
And I'm leaving. Today I am started my 4 week trek around Europe! I never thought I would get back to Sevilla (especially) but I am making a lovely stop with my two friends from HS, J&E, and we are globe-treking through Frankfurt, Portugal, Sevilla (!!!), Croatia, Greece, and Istanbul. I know...I am kind of a big deal...more details to come as the weeks progress, the fights begin, and who knows, maybe even another finger slammed in a door! (I hope not!)
